Opening of the UAE Ministry of Justice national stand at SPILF 2025

On the first day of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, the national stand of the Ministry of Justice of the United Arab Emirates was officially opened.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Chuychenko, and the Minister of Justice of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaymi.

‘For the first time in the history of the Forum, we are introducing the practice of granting foreign countries the status of Guest Country. The UAE is the first country to be awarded this status, which symbolizes the depth of our bilateral relations and our common goals in the field of law and international cooperation,’ said Konstantin Chuychenko.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the delegation of the United Arab Emirates for their active participation in the Forum, and also thanked the Roscongress Foundation and all partners for organizing the event.

After the official part, a cultural programme was organized for the guests: a performance by a national creative group, tasting of oriental sweets, as well as mehndi, traditional henna painting, symbolizing the centuries-old artistic traditions of the Middle East.
